Student-Mentor Relationship Forum at Empire State College Old Westbury

The MSiA “Student-Mentor Relationship Forum” was very successful!  Members gained insight, shared experiences, and offered valuable advice about interacting with instructors at SUNY Empire State College.

CFP: Annual East Coast Graduate Liberal Studies Symposium

Presenting papers at conferences is important for graduate students because it provides a chance to share research and network.  The Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs launched a call for papers for the Annual East Coast Graduate Liberal Studies Symposium. Information, and a link to the registration form can be found below.  Thank you SUNY Empire State College instructor Dr. Anastasia Pratt for sharing this information.

  • Students and alumni of graduate liberal studies programs can submit academic papers (no more than ten pages) by 24 April 2015 – addressed to Richard Trama and emailed to
  • Selections made by 4 May 2015
  • Central to each submission should be a cross-disciplinary examination of a fundamental human question, carried out in the liberal arts tradition.
