The SUNY Empire State College Minority Students in Action club’s 2016 Election results are available. The 2016-2017 executive board comprises of new and existing members.
The Communications Coordinator position is still vacant, and we are seeking to have it filled. We would like the MSiA board to be as diverse as possible and reflective of our organization’s commitment to inclusion. So far, this is the first year that a male member will not be serving on the executive board. Therefore, we encourage our male members to consider applying. Please contact us at msia4students@gmail.com to express your interest in serving on the executive board.
We are looking forward to an exciting year with our standard activities focused on enhancing the academic lives of our members and SUNY Empire State College students. There will also be the return of the Pathway Adult Literacy Program with Eastern Suffolk BOCES as well as new events that will help raise social awareness and provide the opportunity for members to pay it forward in their college community.
